Bilal Muhammad is an experienced Infrastructure Security Engineer with a demonstrated history of providing quick resolutions for large end user corporations with minimal supervision. He is skilled in networking technologies and protocols, especially on Fortinet's equipment. Currently, Bilal is working as a Technical Account Manager at Fortinet, where he is the primary contact for technical issues of all Fortinet products for assigned Fortinet's premium enterprise customers. He works closely and provides direct technical support via email or phone to Fortinet's premium enterprise customers. Bilal used monitoring tools to maintain and report on the overall health of network systems and services. He proactively took steps to inform stakeholders and address network abnormalities. Bilal participated in worldwide network architecture design, growth discussions, and initiatives. He proposed and drove solutions for new site builds, site refreshments, migrations, and expansions. At CenturyLink, Bilal executed augmentation activities like card upgrades, port aggregation upgrades, circuit re-terminations, and traffic grooming on ALU A7 series, Calix E7 series, Cisco 3750, 7600, ASR 9000 series, and Cienna 3940, 311V, 5150,5305. He performed risk assessments and determined if the current configurations satisfied all the requirements for the proposed activity by performing pre-maintenance checks. Bilal has a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from S J C Institute of Technology, Chickballapur.
