Dan Cromartie is a highly experienced data engineer and data scientist with over 10 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at Fiddler, where he is responsible for developing and implementing data engineering and data science solutions for the organization. Prior to his current role, Dan worked at attune insurance, a joint venture between AIG and TwoSigma, where he held various positions in data engineering, data science, and management. He played a key role in the successful sale of the company to Coalition in 2021. Dan also worked at ondeck as a Senior Manager of Data Analytics, where he led a team of six data scientists and developers. He was responsible for various areas, including fraud prevention, real-time credit decisioning, ad hoc web applications, entity resolution, fuzzy matching, and text/document classification. He also developed loan preapproval pipelines for a partnership with Chase and implemented systems for model hosting and deployment. Dan holds a Master of Science degree in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Systems Engineering from Lehigh University.
