Gaurav Kumar is an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for using technology to help mankind. He is currently working as an SDE2 at Microsoft, where he is responsible for developing software solutions that meet the needs of clients. With almost a decade of experience in the field, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Amazon, PayTM, Cardekho, and Samsung. Gaurav graduated from NIT Hamirpur in 2013 with a CGPA of 8.65. He has extensive experience in Android development, having built, deployed, and unit tested apps with end-to-end ownership. He is also skilled in Java, SQL, and AWS, among other technologies. Prior to his current role, Gaurav worked as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Amazon, where he designed and developed a mobile application used by delivery associates. He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at PayTM, where he was responsible for the Recharge and Utility section of the app. In this role, he took care of the product consisting of 27 verticals and implemented new features while improving the codebase. Gaurav's education includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Hamirpur, as well as intermediate and high school education from Kendriya Vidyalaya Pitampura and Navyug Vidyalaya Bhagalpur, respectively. Aside from his work experience, Gaurav is also skilled in research, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, Dagger, Search, and Frontend development. With almost a decade of relevant experience, Gaurav has developed a deep understanding of software engineering and is committed to using his skills to make a positive impact on society.
