Goran Basic is a highly experienced Mechanical Systems Designer currently working with Canadensys Aerospace Corporation. With over 13 years of relevant experience, Goran has developed an impressive skill set in designing and developing complex robotics and mechatronics payloads and systems for extreme environment applications. In his current role, Goran works as a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer, where he is responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for aerospace applications. He is a key member of the team that ensures the successful integration of mechanical systems into the final product, ensuring that all design requirements are met. Prior to joining Canadensys Aerospace Corporation, Goran worked as the Chairman of the Board for Robotworks Corp. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the design and development of robotics and mechatronics payloads and systems for extreme environment applications. He has also worked as a Product Hardware Designer for Inertia | Product Design + Manufacturing + Supply Chain Management, where he was responsible for designing and developing hardware products. Goran's educational background includes a MaSc in Aerospace Engineering and Robotics from the University of Toronto - Institute for Aerospace Studies, and a BSc in Information Sciences and Linguistics from the University of Zagreb. His educational background has provided him with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in his career as a Mechanical Systems Designer.
