Himanshu Sahay is a seasoned software engineer with a passion for building products with clean code and good architecture. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has contributed to the development of multiple large consumer Android apps, including Tinder, Bird, and Kindle. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Snapchat, he has led the Android development on the new Ad Kit SDK, which enables third-party developers to run Snap ads in their apps. He has also created the App Ads Kit SDK, which allows Snap to have a first-party analytics approach for ads, in a world where the device IDFA will no longer be available to ad networks. Apart from his work at Snapchat, Himanshu is also an angel investor and advisor to early-stage companies. He has made several investments at Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A stages, and is a Venture Partner at Predictive VC and a Venture Scout at Grishin Robotics. His current investments include Drift Bio, Jelly, Apothecary, Mythia, Shone, Mighty Health, Sanas, and Humans Anonymous. Himanshu's past experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Bird, where he built the Bird service center app from scratch to track, repair, and maintain the company's massive fleet of last-mile vehicles. He also worked on the Reliability and Mechanic Engineering teams from time to time, gaining valuable experience in Android architecture and complex RxJava. Himanshu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. With a tech stack that includes Android, iOS, and Mobile development, he is a product-focused engineer who is passionate about building scalable and reliable products.
