Lucas has a strong background in Node, SQL, Postgis, and Vue, which he has honed over the years through his work on various projects. Prior to joining VETRO FiberMap™, Lucas worked as a Javascript Developer (Contract) at Ameriprise where he was responsible for porting legacy business applications to React/Redux, building a reverse proxy in Node to handle cross-origin ajax calls in the dev environment, and refactoring legacy code for improved accuracy, usability, and stability. He also worked as a Junior UI/UX Developer at MIC where he developed desktop and mobile sites, refactored existing code to reduce technical debt, built a single opt-in email API, and increased direct-to-consumer engagement through AB testing of customer engagement initiatives. Lucas has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, which he obtained in 2014. He also completed a Web Development course at App Academy in 2015.
