Manoj Middepogu is a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong background in computer science. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, where he is exploring his academic interests in machine learning, explainable AI, and graph theory. Manoj has nearly two years of relevant experience in software engineering, data science, and machine learning. His previous role was as a Software Engineer at Google, where he worked on improving language experience for users on voice search and assistant. Manoj was part of the Assistant NBU Quality team and played a significant role in launching several impactful features, including increasing speech training data for Indic languages, improving customer satisfaction survey response rates for multi-language Assistant queries, and developing a PoC for language settings issues. Prior to his role at Google, Manoj worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he created lab assignments, graded projects and labs, and helped students in lab sessions. He also handled a group of 12 students in lab and helped them understand C++ concepts and programming. Manoj's work interests include quant, machine learning research and applications, Android development, and full-stack development. He is proficient in a range of tech stacks, including software engineering, machine learning, search, Android development, data science, research science, and AI. Manoj is actively seeking internships in software engineering, data science, and machine learning for the summer of 2023. With his strong academic and professional background, he is well-equipped to make significant contributions to any team he joins.
