Nagarjun Avaraddy is a skilled software developer with a passion for working in the computer software industry. He has a strong background in distributed system design and development, with a focus on backend engineering. Nagarjun holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of California Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Previously, Nagarjun worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Research, where he architected and implemented a MQTT-based edge computing solution for Samsung's SmartThings platform. He also co-ordinated with global teams from Korea and the USA to formulate the 18-month-long product roadmap, development phases, and KPIs. Nagarjun has mentored three summer research interns to redesign the entire Device Status Synchronization System for the Edge Solution to be scalable. Nagarjun has also worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung, where he remodeled the porting layer of OS-agnostic Iotivity Stack using C for Samsung's Tizen OS, which integrated 100% of the OCF certified IOT devices into Samsung Ecosystem. He has also devised a Python-based test case suite for E-Sim EasySetup framework for OCF backed Iotivity Stack. Nagarjun has tutored 40+ fellow employees in advanced Data Structures and Algorithms to facilitate them in cracking Samsung's Software Professional Certification Test with a 90% success rate.
