Nitesh Mahawar is a prefinal student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, with a passion for programming, Android development, and machine learning. He has worked with various technologies, languages, and frameworks and has completed three projects, including one that won 2nd position in hackathons. Nitesh's skills include HTML, CSS, JS, React for frontend, JAVA, Python, Django, Rest API, Nodejs for the backend, Android SDK for Android, MySQL databases, and AWS for deployment. He is an avid learner and always looking for interesting things to learn. Currently, Nitesh is the Joint Secretary at Himalayan Explorers' Club, where he manages the design and database work of the club. He has also worked as a Full Stack Developer at Newton School, where he built and owned software projects using MERN stack and different testing frameworks. He has also contributed as a Software Developer at Red Hen Lab through Google Summer of Code, where he worked on identifying shows and channel names between different News TV shows present in the same video with 3 to 8 hours long videos using Python, Pandas, Web Scraping, face recognition, KNN, Wikipedia APIs, and NLP. Nitesh's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, which he is expected to complete in 2022, and he completed his schooling at New Model Sr. Sec. School. With 3.03 years of relevant experience, Nitesh is a skilled Software Engineer, Android developer, Research Scientist, and has expertise in MySQL, AWS, ML, Frontend, Backend, Python, NodeJS, NLP, Pandas, and Web.
