Rohan Pradhan is an experienced Lead DB Engineer with a strong background in database administration and development. He has a demonstrated history of working in the market research industry and is skilled in Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, and different services of Amazon AWS. Rohan has a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) focused in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science, VNSGU, Surat. Currently, Rohan is working as a Lead DB Engineer at Numerator, where he is involved in database administration activities as well as multiple projects in different technologies that cover ETL development and different kinds of SQL and PL/SQL development. He is responsible for day-to-day activities and health checks on various platforms like Oracle, SQL Server Aurora PostgreSQL, and checks for database backups jobs, making sure availability of all DBs 24x7. He also monitors database health from Oracle Enterprise Manager, creates and manages database maintenance jobs and cleanup tasks, and actively involved in performance tuning activities in various databases like oracle and SQL Server. In addition to his database administration expertise, Rohan has experience in working on ETL which involved heterogeneous source and destination and different types of tools like AWS CLI, SnowSQL, CURL. He has also worked with Microsoft SSIS and created reports with the help of SSRS. Prior to Numerator, Rohan worked as a Database Administrator at TCS, where he was responsible for Oracle database health checks, backup and restore activities with RMAN, and monitoring database size/growth and perform space allocation on as needed. He also provided support to developers in database level queries and clarification and communicated with application stack holder as well as Oracle support. Before that, he worked as an Oracle SQL Developer at BNS Group – Gowrie Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. Rohan's technical skills include SQL, AWS, Snowflake, ETL, Research Scientist, infra, test, Python, Azure, and Web.
