Shubham Agarwal is a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer currently working at Cohesity. He has over three years of experience in software development, with a focus on ML and Systems. Shubham is currently pursuing an MS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At Cohesity, Shubham has implemented DNSEC validation in clusters to ensure DNS validation and attain zero trust security using bash scripts and Linux configuration changes in a distributed Cohesity system. He has also worked on distributed Cohesity clusters using Go/C++ to implement security features including SSH Timeout, Inactivity timeout, alerts for all critical security features, and distributed feature enabler. His work was acknowledged by the biggest customer of the company. Previously, Shubham worked at Nutanix as an MTS 3, where he redesigned the code for the Invisible Release Management (IRM) tool in NodeJS using Single Responsibility Principle and Design Patterns to support the release of up to 50 tools. He also designed and implemented a Configuration Driven approach for IRM to scale the tool for multiple products. Shubham coordinated with multiple teams for designing interfaces, standards, and helped with the adoption of the tool, reducing the effort required for a single release from 2 hours to 10 minutes. He also implemented UI design using ReactJS for the Downloads Platform and designed the platform backend to support one-click adding of new products. Shubham has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also attended Don Bosco School, Park Circus, Kolkata, and Welham Boys School.
