Aabhaas Dasgupta is a highly passionate and skilled individual with a strong desire to solve problems using technology. Currently pursuing a Business Management course from XLRI Jamshedpur, Aabhaas has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from National Institute of Technology Warangal. With 2.44 years of relevant experience, Aabhaas has honed his skills in C, C++, JAVA, Python and SQL. Aabhaas has worked as a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, where he was a part of the Modem Software Team. He contributed to the development of QLog, a tool for Log Analysis and Automatic Log Classification using Machine Learning. Aabhaas created a user-friendly GUI for different teams in Qualcomm to perform Log Analysis efficiently using Perl. He also experimented with different Machine Learning models, including Classical (Random Forest, XGBoost, Bagging, Logistic Regression, Voting Classifier, etc.) and Deep Learning models (LSTM, CNN) on Keras. Aabhaas extensively used Hyperparameter optimization in all models to try to achieve the best possible results. He also participated in "IdeaQuest," a competition of ideation, prototyping, and presentation, where his idea of "Quiet Place- A lip reading system" got selected amongst the top 4 ideas. Aabhaas has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Qualcomm, where he contributed to the development of QLog. He also worked as an Additional Secretary at the English Literary and Debating Club, NIT Warangal. Aabhaas is proficient in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, SQL, XGBoost, Random Forest, Keras, Hyperparameter, CNN, Deep Learning, and Python. He has also scored 740 in GMAT. With his excellent communication and management skills, Aabhaas is a keen learner and a passionate problem solver.
