Aadit Kamat is a skilled Software Engineer and Data Scientist with 3.43 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Visa, where he has developed APIs for different microservices under the Accounts Based Payment project using Spring Boot. He has also written unit tests for the APIs using JUnit 5 and Mockito, and for the React Form Components in the Experiences Admin Portal using Jest and React Testing Library. Aadit has a Bachelor of Computing (Honours) degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore. During his time at university, he participated in hackathons, undertook internships, and worked on some of his own projects. He has interned in both startup and corporate environments, gaining experience in software engineering and data science. He has developed and maintained ~100+ test cases for promotion modules in the Shopee Android App, designed the QA Class syllabus for 2022, and analyzed QA Class and QA Workout trainings as well as provided feedback through rating. He has also written a script to regularly update the database through a scheduled cron job, handled the user authentication on the server side using the OAuth mechanism, modeled the firewall data for database operations, set up the REST APIs for data communication between the frontend and the backend, and deployed the application on Nginx in an SELinux production environment.
