Aakanksha Shivani is a skilled Software Engineer at Nykaa, with a passion for Flutter and a commitment to teaching and mentoring others. With over 2 years of experience in the field, Aakanksha began her journey working on a startup app for a seat booking system around her college campus for meals in mess and restaurants. Aakanksha is a strong believer in the power of teaching and learning from others. In fact, she took on the challenge of teaching a 6-day long Flutter Bootcamp in her college in January 2020, where she helped over 80 students learn and build apps on Flutter. Aakanksha is currently the Head of Flutter Department at DSC KIET, where she manages a team of 7 Flutter developers. Her continual source of motivation comes from the people around her who push her to do her best, challenge herself daily, and learn new skills that facilitate her exemplary work. Aakanksha is also a proud member of the Flutteristas Community, a worldwide community of people who identify as women or non-binary and have an interest in the Flutter SDK. Her passion for Flutter is evident in her past work experience as a Flutter Technology Intern at Nykaa and as the Head of Flutter Department at Developer Student Clubs KIET - Powered by Google Developers. At DSC KIET, Aakanksha trained over 80 students on Flutter through talks and boot camps, completed over 5+ projects with her team, and took a speaker session on Flutter. Aakanksha holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology. She also completed her Intermediate from Kendriya Vidyalaya with a focus on Science (Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and Computer Science) and her High School from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Aakanksha's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Flutter, iOS, and UI. With 2.19 years of relevant experience, Aakanksha is a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer, committed to learning and teaching others in the field of Flutter.
