Aakash Anand V. is a proactive and detail-oriented user experience designer with a passion for crafting engaging and enjoyable experiences. He specializes in Universal Design from National Institute of Design (NID) and has over 5 years of experience in designing B2B enterprise digital products. Currently, he is working with ServiceNow as a Senior User Experience Designer, reinventing the Security Operation (SecOps) space, and simplifying the challenge of digital transformation for the world’s largest enterprises. Aakash's core interest lies in User-centric design, Human-computer interaction, UX research, product strategy, design for emerging markets, and design of new technologies. His design approach focuses on empathizing with the needs of the user, and he believes in what Charles Eames once said, “Recognizing the need is the primary condition for design\". Before joining ServiceNow, Aakash was associated with Cisco as a User Experience Designer. He was responsible for defining the end-to-end UX strategies of a runtime application self-protection (RASP) solution, an award-winning product for business-critical and modern applications to detect vulnerabilities and threats, block attacks and share context across Application and Security teams in real-time. He also led the design effort to craft the digital experience for AppDynamics’s new-gen platform to improve application performance management for Data-first application (Big-data) in the complex world of Cloud-Native. Aakash has also worked with Honeywell as a UX Designer (Design Consultant via Brillio), where he designed a cloud-based software tool to monitor fire systems. He was involved in the product development life cycle from requirement gathering to final execution of high fidelity prototypes, and monitoring from development state to the delivery of the design. Aakash holds a Master of Design (M.Des.) in Universal Design from National Institute of Design (NID) and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur. He is well-versed in various technologies such as designer, Research Scientist, product manager, ML, AI, Mobile, Web, test, dotNET, and Integration.
