Aakash Deep Shrivastava is a versatile Design Generalist with a passion for solving zero to one problems and working with startups. He is currently working as a Design employee at Appsmith, where he is the first design hire and is responsible for designing the future of internal apps and low-code. With a relevant experience of 5.93 years, Aakash has worked with a variety of companies, including independent product design, Cars24, and Appsmith. During his time as an Independent Product Designer, Aakash worked on and launched exciting products for global users. He designed a native iOS experience for www.greatescape.co, which landed the #2 Product of the day on Producthunt. Additionally, he designed and launched a global dashboard for travellers to monitor COVID related entry restrictions with the team at GreatEscape. This was his first Producthunt launch, and the website was widely loved by users. Aakash started working with Appsmith part-time and loved the team and product. After three months of collaboration, he decided to join them full-time. At Cars24, India's largest used car technology company, Aakash worked as a UX Lead. He worked on the supply-side marketplace mobile apps and internal products. He also had his first hands-on User Research experience and travelled to four major Indian cities to interview used car dealers. He redesigned the product display screen and onboarding flow on the dealer/partner mobile app and designed a new Lead-management system for retail stores. Aakash holds a Bachelor of Design degree in User Experience Design from Symbiosis Institute of Design. He has a TechStack that includes designer, product designer, iOS, Mobile, and Research Scientist.
