Aakash Fumakiya is an inquisitive and optimistic Software Quality Engineer with over 3 years of experience in manually testing web applications, mobile testing, API testing (Postman), and automation testing (Selenium Webdriver). He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Universal College of Engineering and a Diploma in Computer Science Engineering from Shri. Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic. Currently working as a Software QA Engineer at KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd., Aakash is responsible for reviewing requirement specifications, designing and developing new detailed test cases, and updating existing test suites to prevent pesticide paradox. He is experienced in performing cross-browser testing using BrowserStack and basic API testing using the Postman tool for one of the features. Aakash has identified and reported various critical defects, escalated high-priority issues immediately to management, and highlighted areas of concern for process improvements in team meetings. He has also coordinated with PMs and effectively managed tasks in the team in the absence of the QA Manager. Prior to his current role, Aakash worked as an Interface Implementation and Testing Engineer at eClinicalWorks, where he successfully configured and tested more than 500 clinical interfaces as per client requirements and vendor functionality specification. He collaborated with overseas clients on call to test and resolve concerns specific to interface functionalities and discovered and highlighted critical bugs of EMR (more specific to the Interface module) which can cause Patient Safety Issues. Aakash also worked with SQL queries, networking commands, and MSOffice tools to perform testing, configuration, and various operations on data. Aakash has also worked as a Developer Intern at Ajackus, where he contributed to UI customization of web applications using HTML5 and CSS3. He fixed UI bugs and created and executed detailed test cases for mobile applications using an online tool TESTPAD. He independently worked on end-to-end testing of mobile applications 'Visa Guide' and 'PhasorLab' app on Android as well IOS platform.
