Aakash Gupta is an experienced SDET-II and Scrum Master with over 8 years of expertise in software quality. He has a strong background in automation framework development and has experience in both automation and manual testing of web, desktop, and mobile apps. Aakash is proficient in Selenium Web-driver, SeeTest, Perfecto, TestNG, Selenide, retrofit, REST, UFT/QTP, Jenkins, and Perforce. He is also skilled in API automation, microservice testing, and performance testing. Aakash has implemented a mobile testing framework (Keyword-driven, Java TestNG) in SeeTest from scratch and demonstrated it to different clients. He has also implemented a multichannel automation framework (Keyword-driven) that triggers single/multiple scripts in different browsers in desktop (multiple browsers) as well as in mobile (Android or iOS) at the same time and gives output in an appropriate way. Aakash is always willing to learn and is passionate about the things he loves to do. He is easily adjustable to any environment and follows agile methodologies as a Scrum Master in the team. Currently, Aakash works as an SDET 2 at Khoros, where he is responsible for automation of test cases using Java, Selenium, Junit/TestNg, framework development and enhancement, taking care of test infrastructure (Jenkins/framework modifications), and handling the release process. He is also responsible for service testing for the community website, iOS testing, and test planning and architecting the test automation framework. In the past, Aakash worked as a Software Engineer (QA) at Akamai, where he developed an automation framework using Java, Selenium, Selenide for web, API, DB testing, and performance testing. He also set up the CI process using Jenkins and integrated the same with GIT, Clover, Junit, Maven, and Zephyr. Aakash has also worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Genpact, where he designed and developed automation scripts and frameworks using VBScript, Java, C#, Selenium Webdriver, and TestNG for user interface and functional testing. He provided solutions to resolve business problems of various natures using Selenium Webdriver, UFT, and Java, and helped other teams to provide various testing solutions. Aakash holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Shri G S Institute of Technology & Science.
