Platform offering continuous integration software. It leverages CI or CD to build, test and deploy applications. It pushes the CI validated code into the application through structured deployment pipelines. It offers real-time insights with continuous delivery monitoring tools. Its features include the management of application lifecycles, source code, roadmaps, incidents, container host security, time tracking, etc.

At Travis CI I build the Travis API and other backend systems in Ruby and Elixir. Most of my work here has been open source. Some of my important projects were:

- writing a service in Elixir to merge the commercial and free hosted platforms (on-going project), tackling conflicts in history of data and the expected final impact of merging infrastructures,
- improving fair use detection,
- and, building and maintaining several features, e.g. running scheduled builds (crons) . 

At Blacklane, I worked on the core backend and infrastructure development. 

Some of my important projects were: 
  - migrating our legacy stacks to AWS where we use Chef and Terraform to maintain our infrastructure.
  - dockerizing some services for development
  - setting up monitoring for our infrastructure
  - improving and breaking our ruby monolith into smaller services



At TD, I worked on a service for social media analysis and data aggregation. I also wrote provisioning scripts with Ansible.

HowDo was a small, early stage startup where I worked as a backend engineer in a team of three engineers.

I helped develop the Sinatra API, build a responsive site and learnt Agile development and TDD.

Millee investigates how e-learning games on cellphones can be designed to extend literacy and second language learning among children in rural areas and the urban slums in the developing world. Millee’s goal is to standardize the education of English throughout India in a sustainable, feasible manner by pairing attainable mobile phones with relevant educational games. 5 years of impact analysis in India have shown the large delta in English literacy among children with whom Millee has been tested. Millee is currently scaling up this research project to conduct a controlled experiment involving 800 village children in 40 rural schools in India, with early replication underway in Kenya and China. Millee has received major sponsorship from the MacArthur Foundation, Microsoft, National Science Foundation, Nokia, Qualcomm and Verizon. It was featured in the press in India, ABC News and a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television documentary. Millee’s plan is to scale up to become a self sustainable NGO providing educational games to the masses through mobile phones.
