IEEE Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology Student Branch is one of the most active student branches in Delhi Section that was established in the year 2009. The Student Branch caters the students of MSIT and all IEEE Members in different domains such as skill development, Special Interest Groups, Project Programs, Industrial Visits, Guest Lectures, etc. IEEE MSIT comprises of 3 reputed chapters, Power and Energy Society, Microwave Theories and Techniques Society and Computer Society along with a Women in Engineering Affinity Group.

The student branch of MSIT was registered with IEEE, USA in March, 2009 and it marked the beginning of the journey of IEEE, MSIT onto the path of constant upgradations and developments. The reins of this newly formed branch were given in the capable hands of Ms. Suman Mann, Reader, IT Department and she assumed the responsibility of Branch Counselor, IEEE, MSIT.

Many seminars and workshops were organized by the IEEE Student Branch in its endeavor. It helped create awareness among the students about the benefits of joining IEEE and helped in the rise in number of memberships in the present academic year.

IEEE-MSIT is gradually becoming a name which engineers of various institutes have started to recognize. As Robert Frost once said… “Miles to go before I sleep, Miles to go before I sleep.”

TARF is a NGO which works for the welfare of tribal community. I served here as a Graphic Designer and designed some food packets and logos for the NGO. I also learned Logo designing during this internship.

Think Act Rise Foundation is an organization which was founded and is led by a group of students pursuing their undergraduate studies from Delhi University. With this thought, THINK ACT RISE FOUNDATION was founded in 2014. Over the years the organization was joined by some of the most empathetic, committed and skilled professionals to build a multidisciplinary team, which continues to grow.

The main objective initially was to give platforms and nurture unique ideas and innovative thinking.

The organization promoted, talents, creativity and ideas and in the process provided vocational skill sets and better employment opportunities and quality of life. However, the journey has progressed, we have learnt that it will take something more than just ‘skill building’ to walk towards the holistic development. We have learnt that our vision and intent is so much more than creating “a” Skill Development Platform. The organization dug deep into the well of the society and started working for a stronger niche.

Our Vision: Our Vision is to become the most trusted and strongest voice of the people at the bottom of the pyramid and their communities in order to enable their sustainable development.

I have done this Internship as a graphic designer. Naaniz is a service based company which makes projects for other clients. I was working on a project in which my task was to make templates. I had a great experience here and learned so many new things.

The E-Cell MSIT is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship through talks, events and hands-on experience at MSIT.

This is the first media page of our college. I was responsible for the content of our Instagram page. During this internship I also learned Canva and some basic designing.

This page serves a platform for all the Student Chapters that are established by Inception Wave across India.
