Aaron Benton is a highly experienced Principal Solutions Architect at Couchbase with over 17 years of relevant experience in the field. He has a strong background in web programming, SQL, and Javascript, making him an expert in his field. Aaron began his career as an Internet Service Representative at Alltel Communications, where he assisted customers with the installation and configuration of software and hardware. He also supported the development of intranet ColdFusion applications for the call center and escalated unresolved customer issues to the proper groups for resolution and/or onsite technicians. Later, Aaron joined Philips as a PC Support Technician/Intranet Developer, where he assisted IT analysts with the support, maintenance, and installation of both software and hardware throughout the plant. He developed and maintained an intranet website that allowed department heads to manage a variety of information specific to their departments. He also built a Trouble Ticket System that would receive, interpret and assign trouble tickets to IT staff for a variety of support issues. Aaron's education includes a degree in Computer Systems Management Technology with a focus on web programming from Kansas State University. He has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer and has experience in a variety of tech stacks. At Couchbase, Aaron is responsible for designing and implementing solutions for customers based on their specific needs. He works closely with customers to understand their requirements and then develops solutions that meet those needs.
