Aaron J. is a skilled Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the computer software industry. He has a proven track record of success in developing and implementing software solutions using Java, Scala, Apache Spark, Embedded Software Architecture, and Database Architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Devry University. Currently, Aaron is working as a Software Engineer III at iCIMS, where he played a key role in developing the highly successful Offer Management solution. He contributed to the project in a full stack role, from architectural direction to ReactJS UI work to back-end server development. He also played a significant role in bringing the Clause Management sub-feature of Offer Management to fruition, where he architected the solution and built the server implementation for the feature. Additionally, Aaron manages a local scripting library that assists other developers with day-to-day tasks and leads a "community of practice" that focuses on refactoring, code cleanliness, and other practices that should be utilized as developers. He also mentors junior employees and seasonal interns and performs interviews with a panel of other developers to gauge candidate talent. Before joining iCIMS, Aaron worked as a Software Developer at Provenir, where he was a member of the R&D team working to develop potential uses for new technologies. He also worked as a Junior Software Developer at IPKeys Technologies, where he developed and maintained a Java code base for an embedded Linux environment and built out multiple services and APIs for a variety of utilities.
