Aaron Lazar is a seasoned Group Product Manager with over 9 years of experience in the e-learning industry. He is currently the Head of Publishing Platforms at Packt, where he is responsible for developing a range of tools and platforms that support external contributors and internal teams in sharing knowledge to nurture and grow tech communities. Aaron is a results-driven individual who believes in moving fast and getting things done. He has a passion for designing and building products that help authors successfully accomplish the difficult task of writing a book. Aaron's expertise in market research, strategic planning, requirement gathering and analysis, product ownership, and product design has been instrumental in his past roles within the publishing industry. He has led cross-functional teams responsible for executing strategies for topic commissioning and acquisition for books, videos, and courses. He has also represented Packt at tech conferences and meetups and led marketing strategies, including brand partnerships for product portfolios. Aaron is a graduate of the Institute for Technology and Management, where he earned his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Operations Management and Supervision. He also holds an Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from JNTU-K. His technical skills include product management, product design, research science, and software delivery. In his free time, Aaron loves to learn something new, travel, go on long drives, play with dogs, explore new places, strum his guitar, hang out and cook great food with his wife, and draw up ideas for a business he plans to start someday. Aaron is a risk-taker who is not afraid to take on new challenges and believes in the power of collaboration to achieve success.
