Aaron Liu is a Software Development Engineer I with over 4 years of experience in the field. He is proficient in Python, Laravel(PHP), C# UWP, C++, and React.js. Aaron graduated from Nation Chiao-Tung University in 2018 with a major in Computer Science. During his senior year of college, Aaron started working as a junior Full Stack Web Developer at NCHC(Nation Center for High-performance Computing). He used PHP with Laravel architecture to build webpages and also worked on importing datasets to the database and checking the data formats with Python. After graduation, Aaron was hired by the ITRI(Industrial Technology Research Institute.) as a Python developer. His main job was to build a face recognition program that could be used in face scan payment technology or face scan check-in. He used C# WPF(Windows Presentation Foundation) to build a UI interface that could communicate with the Python face-recognition program. He also has a basic idea of Intel's Neural Compute Stick as it was a requirement for the project. Currently, Aaron is working as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon. Before that, he worked as a Back End Software Developer at Stratifyd and as a約聘軟體工程師 at 工研院 where he worked on building a real-time facial recognition system with Google FaceNet model in Python language and designing the user interface with C# WPF(Windows Presentation Foundation).
