Aaron Vale is a highly motivated and skilled software engineer with a passion for learning new languages and frameworks. He is currently working at Google where he is responsible for building creative solutions to abstract and solve real-world problems. Aaron's journey in software engineering started after completing a Master's in Public Affairs at Brown University. He knew he wanted to devote his career to solving big challenges, but he hadn't quite figured out how he wanted to make a difference until he started taking online classes about Web Development. Since then, he has been hooked and has never looked back. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Aaron has worked for several companies, including Intersystems and F1V LLC, where he held positions as a Senior Developer and Javascript Software Engineer, respectively. At F1V LLC, he developed and shipped over 30 interactive HTML5 math lessons for grades K-5 as part of an integrated, iterative development team. He was also responsible for architecting and delivering a 'toolbox,' which offers students a series of interactive 'tools' to help them visualize, model, and solve word problems. Additionally, he created a system of 'walkthroughs,' which take students through a problem one step at a time if they're struggling. Aaron has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and a Master's degree in Public Affairs from Brown University. He also completed a Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly. His education has equipped him with a well-rounded skill set that includes software engineering, web development, Javascript, Java, and frontend development.
