Aarthy Ramesh is a highly motivated and skilled professional with a passion for Machine Learning and Data Science. She is currently pursuing her Masters in ECE with a focus on Machine Learning and Data Science from UC San Diego. Aarthy is actively seeking full-time positions in the fields of ML, DS, and SE. With over 2.5 years of relevant experience, Aarthy has worked as a Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments, where she was responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of responsive web applications in the health insurance domain. She has also worked as a Data Science Intern at Walmart, where she identified the root causes of inventory management problems using data analysis, user interviews, and discussions with product managers. Aarthy suggested solutions to reduce inventory issues, such as including new features to improve the accuracy of the existing inventory availability prediction model and changing processes at the store level. Currently, Aarthy is working as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego, where she is implementing a BERT-based Question Answering model and a GNN-based RE model over a synthetic biology knowledge base. Her TechStack includes ML, Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Software Engineer, BERT, test, and Web. Aarthy's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli, and she completed her High School studies in Computer Science from Lakshmi School. She is expected to complete her Master of Science in ECE (Machine Learning and Data Science) from the University of California in December 2023. Aarthy is a quick learner, a team player, and has excellent communication skills. She is highly motivated to apply her knowledge and experience to solve complex problems in different domains using ML and DS.
