Aashish Goyal is a Senior Software Engineer at Flipkart with a passion for coding and a basic skillset in C, C++, and Java. Aashish's final year project involved enhancing the performance of the PIFS algorithm, a frequent pattern extracting algorithm on incremental databases, using Hadoop architecture. Currently, Aashish is working in Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore as part of the Tizen platform division. His work involves stabilizing the application manager daemon, which deals with application lifecycle management in the Tizen environment. He has gained a wealth of knowledge about techniques used for inter-process communications. Aashish has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Amazon and Samsung. At Samsung, he stabilized the application manager daemon of the Tizen platform and developed a command similar to the top command to list out all processes and other stats like current status and network usage. He also developed features like cooldown mode, safe mode, and update-checker support for Tizen 3.0. Aashish holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from NIT Warangal and completed his CBSE - 12th standard from Abhinav Public School Pitampura Delhi. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Java, ML, Hadoop, and Mobile.
