He currently works as a Staff Firmware Engineer at Western Digital, where he contributes to the development of enterprise storage solutions for the industry. With 3.34 years of relevant experience, Aashish has a strong background in firmware development. He has previously worked as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Western Digital, where he worked on features and failure demand for new and previous generation hard drive firmware. He also worked on internal tools to analyze and debug through code, validated created features for firmware, unit tested coded modules, and conducted code reviews for technical accuracy. As an Intern at Western Digital, Aashish worked on failure demand for different generations of product and designed a tool to automate the code merging process for the legacy code base. Aashish holds a Master of Technology in Computer Software Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, where he graduated in 2019. He also has a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, where he graduated in 2017.
