Aashish Singla is a seasoned Sr. Director of Engineering with over 20 years of industry experience. He has provided leadership, technical management, and vision to teams working on enterprise-level products. Aashish has recruited, mentored, and established offshore teams, and he is a passionate technical architect with a reasonable flair for UX. He enjoys building products and enabling people around him to do more. Currently, Aashish is the Sr. Director of Engineering at Indexnine Technologies, where he is co-creating a dynamic and happy technical workspace with his colleagues. They are inspired by the challenges that their clients bring to them and love to build products from the ground up with a scalable design built into the core of the product design. Aashish has helped many startup ideas take shape and taste revenue within their first year. He loves to engineer solutions that sustain the test of time, scale, and change in requirements. Prior to Indexnine, Aashish worked as a Director of Product Development at Globant, where he provided integrated user experience design and product development capabilities to customers worldwide. He delivered lean UX for multiple products using cutting-edge technologies such as J2EE, Spring boot, Angular JS, Yeoman/Bower/Grunt, Rhino, PhantomJS, Highstocks/D3 Gemfire, AMQP, and Open Stack APIs for Software-defined Data Center. Aashish managed a high-caliber technical team, being a technical guide when required, raising the bar, and stretching limits of technology. He also owned and drove complex technical projects from the planning stage through execution. Aashish also worked as a Development Manager at Amdocs, Pune, where he was responsible for IMIS (Internal Management Information Systems) India operations. He managed local customers, business functions, development, and test groups. Aashish managed a 65+ member team with seven first-line managers. Aashish completed his B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunications from Punjab Engineering College in 1996. He has a diverse tech stack, including Senior Software Engineer, test, product designer, AngularJS, Spring Boot, and Spring. Aashish has relevant experience of 21.94 years.
