Aastha Dixit is a highly motivated and self-driven Technical Leader with over 10 years of work experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Open Source Technologies. She is currently working as a Technical Leader and Engineering Manager at Cisco Webex, managing and mentoring a team of 5-6 people that provides queuing services to customers using multiple open source technologies such as Kafka message broker, Redis as a cache, MongoDB, SQS, Timestream, DNS routing, and proxy layer majorly on AWS. Aastha is passionate about capturing new flags and is a quick learner who naturally tends to get things done. Prior to joining Cisco, Aastha was part of the core team at Rackspace, working as a Cloud Software Engineer on OpenStack Cloud Infrastructure, focusing on OpenStack Security. She was not just an expert on OpenStack but also proficient in Python development and a Security enthusiast. Aastha has a Master's degree in Computer Science on Cloud Security, Machine Learning, and Software Development from the University of Texas. She proactively worked on projects related to Python, Java, Cloud Security, query optimization, Natural language processing, Algorithms, and Data Structures. Before pursuing her Master's, Aastha worked for over three years in various roles, including Software Developer, Team Lead, Business Consultant, and Instructor/Guide. She worked alongside clients to analyze their problems and find optimal solutions by utilizing both functional and technical expertise. She has worked with SAP and cloud-based deployments of applications and was awarded and recognized at several occasions for doing so. Aastha's primary focus is to have a greater organizational impact not just in Cloud Technologies, OpenSource Automation tools, Designing Infrastructure, but also in human development as a future leader. She is proficient in various technologies such as AWS, Python, NLP, Redis, ML, MongoDB, Kafka, Microservices, DevOps, Java, and Integration. Aastha is a Senior Software Engineer with relevant experience of 10.36 years.
