Aastha Kedia is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 2 years of experience in the industry. Currently working at Dell Technologies, she holds the position of Software Engineer 1 and is involved in SAP Core Finance. She has a strong background in software testing and has worked on various projects in both manual and automated testing. In her previous role as an Undergraduate Intern at Dell, Aastha participated in requirements and functional specification reviews and walk-throughs to ensure that the testability requirements were met. She also conducted test execution/status meetings with project stakeholders and evaluated, troubleshooted, and tested software repeatedly in search of bugs and errors. Furthermore, she created Test Scripts for automated Testing, performed Functional and Regression testing using Python, SAP GUI Scripting, and Microsoft Excel. Aastha has also worked as a Summer Intern at Pitney Bowes, where she was a member of the Engineering/Innovation team of 7 to test and implement a Finance Portal for a few Cross Border Retail Merchants projects in an Agile/Scrum environment. She wrote production validation test cases for the software team and performed functional testing. She collaborated with product managers and developers to identify and resolve issues, coordinate system requirements, and determined the root cause of issues by reporting defects, utilizing JIRA to maintain defects, and check defect status. She executed various testing methods such as black box, functional, and user acceptance testing to validate requirements are met. Aastha holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Shiv Nadar University. Before that, she completed her high school education in Math, Physics, and Chemistry from FIITJEE and her Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education from Delhi Public School with a CGPA of 10/10. Her technical expertise includes software engineering, testing, Python, search, QA, and product management. Aastha has excellent communication skills and can communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical.
