Aayush Dubey is a Backend Software Engineer (MTS2) at VMware with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has a strong interest in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Systems Programming. Aayush has worked on multiple AI/ML projects, including an accelerated learning agent that combined reinforcement learning with LfD to boost the agent's performance across several video games. At VMware, Aayush has been responsible for performing enhancements for vRA Cloud Services Console to automate private deployments to cloud infrastructure. He has also improved cloud template verification and constructed Java unit tests for service blueprints to prepare deployments. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Consultant Intern at VMware, where he created a virtual machine to run integration tests for patching and upgrading features. He also familiarized himself with Jenkins tools and Photon OS commands to set up virtual machines. Aayush has also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue University Intelligent Systems and Assistive Technologies Lab. In this role, he translated image commands to respective functions on X-ray scans of the brain with recognition library. He collaborated with graduate students in mapping hand-gesture movement to image command and deployed MTurk questionnaire website in which users answer the gesture motions in given video.
