Aayush Garg is an experienced Software Engineer turned Product Manager who is currently pursuing his Full-Time MBA at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has a proven track record of building innovative products and leading new user product interventions in the Growth team at Flipkart. As a Product Manager, Aayush has led the development of products for the Next 200 Million Customers (N200M). Prior to his role as a Product Manager, Aayush worked as a Software Engineer in the Ads/Marketing Department at Flipkart, where he gained extensive experience in Big Data Technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Crunch, Hive, Kafka, and more. He played a key role in building models for Recommendations and in-house/external Advertising. Aayush has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Flipkart, where he won the award for the Best Intern for the Flinterns Program 2016. During his time there, he worked on a Pilferage Detection Model in Reverse Supply Chain using Machine Learning, implemented in Python. This model is now used to detect fraudulent products among the returned goods in Flipkart warehouses. In addition to his experience at Flipkart, Aayush has also worked as a Software Development Intern at InstaShop, where he worked on the startup's flagship product InstaShop and InstaSell Grocery buying/selling Android Applications. He implemented various functionalities in the app along with UX-UI designing & programming. Aayush holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree with Honors in Information Technology from iiit and a degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from Delhi Public School. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School and is expected to graduate in 2024. Aayush's technical skills include Product Management, Software Engineering, Spark, Big Data, Hadoop, Kafka, Machine Learning, Python, Apache Hive, UI, and Android.
