Currently working as a Software Engineer III at Plivo, Aayush is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and has made significant contributions to the company's migration to OpenTelemetry across product engineering teams. He created a common library to be used by different teams for seamless migration, leading to decoupling of application observability from underlying infrastructure. Aayush has also integrated WhatsApp as a new communication channel offering into the platform and initiated a unified technical onboarding experience for new hires, which has been adopted across teams within the organization. Prior to his current role, Aayush worked as a Software Engineer II at Plivo, where he led efforts to reach 99.99% availability for the messaging platform and deployed core services in a multi-region active-passive setup for quick disaster recovery. Before joining Plivo, Aayush worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Atlan, where he engineered a batch-processing architecture to export primary data from the data collection platform to tools like Google Sheets and Zapier. He also developed a Python library and API to access product data and usage metrics, built near real-time search and analytics capability using Elasticsearch, and mentored junior engineers and interns across teams. Aayush holds a Bachelor of Technology in Communication and Computer Engineering from lnmiit.
