Abdel also designed, deployed, and operated cloud-native, scalable distributed systems supporting highly-available, low-latency Web API on the AWS cloud. Abdel also worked at VMware as a Technical Operations Design Engineer, where he was responsible for designing, planning, deploying, and supporting multi-thousand-node clusters of networked computers, encompassing physical/virtual servers, SAN & NAS arrays, and network equipment.
