Abdul Kasim is a seasoned CEO with over 31 years of relevant experience in growing tech companies. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of DisplayRide, a company that is leveraging AI/ML, IoT and 5G to transform the rideshare experience. Abdul is responsible for the vision, strategy, fund-raising, marketing/sales, business development, and whatever else is required to ensure the company's success. He is known for his creativity, discipline, and relentless execution. Under Abdul's leadership, DisplayRide has launched a category-defining solution, the Rideshare Monitoring Platform, to address safety concerns in the rideshare and adjunct markets. The platform has been deployed globally and was a finalist for the Impact Innovation Award at Stanford University. Abdul has also raised seed funding led by Rightside Capital Management and established a go-to-market partnership with Vodafone to deliver 'Rideshare Monitoring as a Service' (RMaaS). Abdul has also served as an Advisor for a stealth mode startup company, providing marketing and other critical go-to-market guidance for a growth company focused on delivering Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) technology solutions for the education (STEM) market. Additionally, he has served as a Mentor at FasterCapital, a global virtual incubator and accelerator. Abdul's education background includes a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Kansas State University, a Graduate course in Business & legal implications of the Internet from Harvard University, and MBA coursework in Business Management from the University of Kansas.
