Abdul Rahman is a motivated and goal-oriented QA engineer with one and a half years of hands-on software testing experience, specializing in manual, API, and mobile testing. He has a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle and is skilled in writing, executing, and maintaining Test Plans, Test Cases, and generating software Defect Reports. Abdul is a quick learner and a team player, able to adapt quickly to new environments and learn new things easily. Currently, Abdul is working as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at inov8 limited Pakistan, where he serves as a key member of the software testing team on different development projects. He interfaces with both the customer and Product developing teams to coordinate successful solution designs and implementation. Abdul has designed test case scenarios addressing areas including database impacts, regression testing, negative testing, and error messages. He estimated test effort and created test plans, verifying each build of the software products in different environments like QA environment, Staging, UAT, and Production environment. Abdul has delivered thorough QA testing reports that determined product quality and release readiness. He maintains Release management sheets and release acceptance forms for clients, assists with user-acceptance testing, and gives production support to clients. Abdul maintains regression testing scenarios and writes Solution Documents in response to the client’s requirement. He maintains effective communication with project software developers on project limitation, capability, and performance requirements. He also recommends design improvements or corrections to software developers throughout the development process. Abdul has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Gujrat, completed in 2017. He also has a background in science, having completed his Matric (Class 10) at Quaid-e-Azam Divisional Public School and his FSC-Intermediate (Class 12) at Punjab College of Sciences.
