Abdusalam Parapparackal is a highly motivated and self-driven Structural Design Engineer with a great willingness to learn. He has completed his M.Tech in Structural Engineering from NIT Calicut with First class and Distinction. Currently, he is working as a Structural Design Engineer in Infrastructure Design Consultancy at Mumbai. Abdusalam is resourceful and creative in problem-solving with managing capabilities. Abdusalam has a vast experience of 5.87 years in the field of structural engineering. He has worked with Raj Infra Engineers as a Structural Design Engineer where he gained experience in design and Detailed Engineering of Major bridges, Flyovers, Minor Bridges, ROBs, and VUPs. He is exposed to relevant IRC, IS, ACI, BS, and Eurocodes. Abdusalam has been mainly involved in the design of Superstructure for Integral precast Post-Tensioned PSC girder bridges, Simply supported cast-in-situ and precast Post-Tensioned PSC girder Flyovers, RCC MNB, and ROBs. He has also worked on substructure designs of Pier cap, Piers, Open foundation, Counterfort Abutment, and Integral Wall type Abutments. Abdusalam is adept in software and analytical skills, modeling of structures (Midas Civil, StaA, and FEM), and good at verbal and writing skills. He has also been involved in Value Engineering projects. Abdusalam has also worked with Jithesh Engineers Private Limited as a Structural Engineering Intern. During his internship, he has analyzed and designed an RC framed building (G+4) and designed an overhead RC water tank. He has done the analysis using STAAD Pro and designed manually. Abdusalam has completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from TKM College of Engineering. He has a sound knowledge of infra tech stack. Abdusalam has a proven track record of completing projects within schedules. He is an adept team player and has excellent communication skills.
