Abel Penton is a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience in building responsive web sites using REST Full APIs and SPA frameworks. He is a Computer Scientist and Full-stack developer who has a great interest in learning new technologies, especially those related to the JS ecosystem. Currently working as a Software Engineer at UruIT, Abel has also worked at Divine Solutions LLC and Red Impulsa in the past. During his time at Divine Solutions LLC, Abel worked on projects associated with Healthcare and Energy-Oil industry, where he focused on projects related to Authentication and Administration of the platform. He also worked on a big project related to Energy and Oil industry, where he used Mapbox library to develop a map service in the site using React Node and MongoDb as the main stacks. Abel also worked on building an API in Flask to handle data from Excel and Csv files to import to the site, where they used App Engine for storage data and handle task looking for better performance and scalability of the site. At Red Impulsa, Abel worked with a great team to build a powerful web app for Educational Universities facilities. As a full-stack developer, he worked under great pressure and found many challenges, which he solved with modern design patterns and good programming practices. They also used scrum methodology to get a good workflow. Abel has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Havana, where he graduated in 2019. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, DevOps, Web, Research Scientist, MongoDB, and Flask.
