Abhas Mittal is an accomplished Engineering Lead and Product Enthusiast with over 7 years of experience in the tech industry. At Flyhomes, Abhas has been instrumental in developing a search engine that queries the database for the location of listings and other search parameters for buying a house. He has also automated several manual operations involved in buying a house, which has saved hours of manual work by the operations team every single day. Abhas has also created a customized recommendation system to suggest listings to prospective buyers based on their search criteria. He has planned the architecture for automated and scheduled migration of data from MLS providers to a single source, which has processed over 70 million listings to date. Abhas has also engineered from the ground up, the CRM software for over 400 employees and led integrations with other CRMs like Copper and Close. Abhas led the end-to-end development of Go Strawberry, an online order cum loyalty and feedback management platform for restaurants, developed using Django Rest Framework and React-Redux Stack powered by Typescript and Service Workers. He also developed an Email Scheduler from scratch to timely deliver email reports of restaurant's daily transactions using Node JS. Abhas built a print module for Strawberry Register, an electron application and a chrome app to use the Strawberry POS cashier web app as a desktop application for print and networking effects. He also led integrations with Stripe, Razorpay, Paytm, and Mobikwik. Abhas earned a Bachelor of Technology degree from IIT in 2015.
