Abhay Gupta is a skilled software engineer with a passion for learning new programming languages, frameworks, and software design principles. He has a strong background in software development, data structures, and algorithms. Currently, he is working as a Summer Intern at Arcesium, where he built a data validator for D. E. Shaw's data caching framework. This project required in-depth knowledge of Python and NumPy, as well as concepts such as caching and memoization. Abhay has previously worked as a Member Technical at Arcesium, where he was part of the Futures Trading strategy group in D.E. Shaw & Co. He contributed to building and maintaining the next generation Futures proprietary time series data framework, as well as tools to visualize and analyze data. He has also worked as a Member Of Technical Staff at Nutanix Move team. Abhay holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He also completed his schooling at Delhi Public School, Ranipur, where he studied PCM + Computer Science. Abhay's tech stack includes software engineering and Python. With over 4 years of relevant experience, Abhay is a talented and driven software engineer who is always looking to learn and grow in his role.
