Abhay Prakash is a highly motivated individual currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. With a passion for Machine Learning (ML), he has gained a wealth of experience in this field, including supervised learning, deep neural networks, dimensionality reduction, unsupervised learning, probabilistic graphical models, sequential learning, causal inference, and reinforcement learning. He has also linked these topics to practical industry applications through an immersive experience. Currently, Abhay is selected for Amazon ML Summer School 2022, an integrated learning experience that will help him learn more about ML topics. He is studying directly under the guidance of scientists at Amazon who have immense knowledge in their ML domain. This opportunity has given him the chance to cover fundamental topics in ML and learn from some of the best in the industry. Abhay has also gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at General Electric, where he designed an application that can be used to find the medical condition of the body based on test result images along with data samples and to identify similar artifacts. He worked on the project involving extraction using a deep learning model and ranking using a CNN model. He also developed the project using the knowledge of image processing, information retrieval, machine learning, particularly deep learning and self-supervised learning, and transformer architecture, and using Python Language, Anaconda, PyCharm, and PyTorch Framework. During his internship, he worked directly under the guidance of senior staff data scientists and principal data scientists at the company. Abhay has also worked as a QA Engineer Intern at Urjanet, where he targeted the tickets using Python and Pandas, which referred to the duplicate statements and tagged them with the original ticket. He tagged the tickets in a separate data frame, whether it is full, partial, or not a duplicate, along with the tickets they are duplicated of. His work has been used by the organization employees regularly to keep track of the tickets. Abhay's tech stack includes ML, supervised learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning, data scientist, research scientist, information retrieval, neural networks, CNN, image processing, Python, software engineer, test, Pytorch, qa, and Pandas. With 0.77 years of relevant experience, Abhay is a highly skilled individual with a passion for Machine Learning and a strong desire to learn more and contribute to the field.
