Techniche is the annual techno-management festival of IIT Guwahati, the largest fest of its kind in the North-East. The event, conducted solely by the student fraternity of IIT Guwahati, holds the accolade of being India's first Techno-Management Festival to be held in a Virtual Mode, in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by another successful virtual edition in 2021.

The fest is all set to commence its next edition on 1st September 2022, after the successful execution of the Guwahati Half Marathon 2022 in late April this year. The team is also responsible for the conduction of Technothlon, India's largest student fraternity, organized logic-based examination for school students.

Mood Indigo, popularly known as Mood-I or MI is the annual college cultural festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Initiated by a bunch of music enthusiasts with a meagre amount of Rs. 5000 in 1971, it has become Asia's largest college festival in it's successful journey of 51 years. Over 147k people attended 240+ events held in the last year's fest which had a reach to over 4000+ colleges.

Mood Indigo includes phenomenal and gripping performances by artists of both national (Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Shekhar, Adnan Sami, Lata Mangeshkar,, Indian Ocean, Parikrama) and international fame (MAGIC!, Simple Plan, Epica, Porcupine Tree, DJ VINAI, Sander Van Doon etc.). With a vision to cater to creative needs and artistic geniuses across the nation, various competitions are organized, judged by most renowned and eminent personalities promising big prizes and incentives to the winners.
