Abhijit Gope is a highly motivated and innovative MBA graduate from IIM Indore'21 with a passion for building products that solve real-life problems. He has a proven track record of working with both marketing teams and senior management to create blockbuster product designs. Abhijit has experience in product development with Mahindra and product management with Amazon, where he worked customer backwards to understand the pain points of the food delivery business and created a solution to bring transparency to the process. Currently, Abhijit is an incoming MT at Phonepe and a Product Manager Intern at Amazon. In his current role, he benchmarks the usage of QR codes across industries and surveys beta participants of Amazon Food to prioritize features. He has developed a QR-code-based solution to deliver detailed information about the food order to win customer trust and drive loyalty. Abhijit has also drafted the PR/FAQ for the program and developed the customer experience mocks and working demo of the solution. Abhijit's past experience includes working as a Brand Ambassador with Catapult Classes, where he worked closely with the sales and marketing team to conceptualize marketing campaigns and strategies. He executed email marketing and social media marketing to reach out to the potential target audience. As an engineer with Mahindra & Mahindra, Abhijit worked on New Generation Transmission (NGT) and Virtual Performance Trial (VPT). He carried out preliminary numerical solutions to reduce the turnaround time and man-hours for the job and conducted DFMEA to avoid field failure after product launch. Abhijit reduced the cost and weight by 30% and 20% of the transmission, respectively, without compromising quality. He also analyzed the data to create a model for eliminating the noise in transmission at the preliminary design stage, resulting in significant cost and time savings. Abhijit's education history includes a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Silchar. He also holds a Higher Secondary School Certificate from Army Public School and a Secondary School degree from VKV Seijosa.
