Abhimithra Karthikeya is a seasoned software engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently working as a Staff Engineer at PayPal, he is responsible for putting off fires and mending pipelines. Abhimithra is a jack of all software trades, with a diverse skill set that includes Javascript, SQL, AWS, Java, Spring, Software Engineering, NoSQL, Kafka, Redux, Cassandra, Integration, Frontend, Web, NodeJS, Typescript, and ReactJS. Abhimithra has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Fanatics, where he was the first engineer in India CCP core team, building the next generation global v-commerce platform. He was responsible for building a full-stack engineering team for the experience org in the Hyderabad office, growing the team to 8 engineers in 18 months amid COVID-19. He also led efforts into payment partners integration and world-class customer chatbot experiences. His tech stack included React, Node, Java, Cassandra, Golang, and AWS. Abhimithra also built features into the web platform to enhance the UX and developed several frontend features and tooling around the global CCP platform. Prior to Fanatics, Abhimithra worked at PayPal as a Software Engineer 3, leading a full-stack team to build customer service tools for Merchant Onboarding (Saturn) and Enhanced Linking (Shadow) use cases. He built Risk PayPal's first GraphQL framework to solve dynamic query problems as a means to improve the performance of the Shadow tool. His tech stack included React, Node, Java, Hibernate, and SQL. Abhimithra holds an M.Tech degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, and completed his high school education from Tejaswi High School.
