Abhinash Jain is a Senior Security Engineer with over a decade of experience in improving the security state of applications and services running on mobile devices or deployed on cloud and internet in general. He is currently working with Qualcomm as a Senior Security Engineer in the Product Security Application Processor Team. In this role, he is responsible for the security of Qualcomm's software that runs on the non-secure execution environment of the Android HLOS on mobile. His work involves white-box fuzzing of Android user-space services, manual C/C++/JAVA secure code review, discussing software design with developers, and helping them fix identified bugs and risks. He also triages and does root cause analysis of bugs reported by external security researchers on Qualcomm's developed software running on Android HLOS. Abhinash has previously worked with Citrix as a Senior Security Engineer I in the Product Security Team and as a Security Engineer II in the same team. As a blue team member, he was responsible for end-to-end security development lifecycle (SDL) implementation, improving the security quality of Citrix's Netscaler products and technologies, and secure by design activities such as design reviews and threat modelling for new features and products. He was also responsible for the security of various Netscaler related products offering, such as Gateway, Auth, Config, NMAS. As an internal bug bounty team member, he was responsible for the security of all Citrix products offering on cloud. His work involved mostly black box pentesting, finding and exploiting vulnerabilities, and creating PoCs and write-ups. Abhinash holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Amity University. He occasionally plays CTF, solves algorithmic problems in coding platforms, and is lately hooked on web3. His tech stack includes Android, Mobile, iOS, Web3, test, Web, PHP, and infra.
