Abhinav Srinivasan is an aspiring data-driven professional with expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, IoT, machine learning, and visual analytics. He is a software engineer with a strong desire to create a positive change leveraging innovative technologies. Abhinav has a Master of Science degree in Information Sciences and Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from SRM University. Abhinav has experience in performing ETL and generating reports, and is proficient with different databases such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Neo4j. He has utilized data modeling techniques while implementing concepts such as star/snowflake schema. Abhinav has an excellent understanding of statistical modeling tools like Minitab, machine learning algorithms (Naive Bayes, Regression, gradient boost, Support Vector Machine, Random Forest), and visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI. He also has a deep knowledge of core data warehousing and data mining principles, and is familiar with statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, chi-squared test, ANOVA, correlation, and feature selection. Abhinav is well-versed in designing web-based applications using Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Nodejs, XML, and PHP. He has worked with AWS and GCP to perform analytics and deploy scalable web services. Abhinav has built deep learning models using Tensorflow and Keras, and has knowledge in version control tools like GitHub. Currently, Abhinav is working as a Software Engineer at NTID Center on Access Technology, where he is responsible for implementing an Emergency Notification System for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. He is involved in testing, documentation, and deployment of supporting software applications on AWS, Windows, and RaspberryPi. Previously, he worked as an Intern at Trikwetra Enterprise Solutions Pvt Ltd, where he was involved in designing frontend and backend modules utilizing Python on Django framework. Abhinav has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he assisted for two graduate courses: Foundations of IoT and HCI with Mobile, Wearable, & Ubiquitous Devices.
