Abhinav Tripathi is an AI Engineer with a passion for research and development of cutting-edge algorithms. He is currently working at KLA where he is responsible for building, deploying, and improving Machine Learning models and algorithms. Abhinav graduated from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2020 with a BTech and MTech in Electrical Engineering, and a minor in Machine Learning and Applications. Abhinav has a diverse experience in the industry, having worked as a Risk Analyst at American Express before joining KLA. During his time at IIT Kanpur, he worked on an exciting project that involved leveraging deep learning for the problem of geolocalization of a UAV using satellite imagery. He trained a CNN with a dual backbone on 108k matching and non-matching pairs of satellite and UAV images, achieving an accuracy of 0.89 compared to 0.85 for siamese networks. This project showcases his expertise in the field of AI and his ability to deliver results. Abhinav's technical skills include Research Scientist, ML, AI, CNN, and Deep Learning.
