About
Abhineet Yadav is a seasoned product manager with over 13 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently serving as a Product Manager of Innovation Team at Discovery Channel, where he is responsible for building digital D2C products and consumer-facing products that utilize subscription models, marketing funnel, data, and analytics layer for better segmentation, targeting, and ARPU. In addition, Abhineet is overseeing the strategy for Adobe Experience Manager for APAC marketing web assets for owned channels across the region. Before joining Discovery Channel, Abhineet worked as a Technical Project Manager at Ubisoft Singapore, where he managed multiple teams to build new AAA title (Skull & Bones – first of its kind in Pirate genre). He was responsible for owning team deliverables, stakeholder communication, managing Scrum ceremonies and events, milestone planning and closure, people responsibilities, and multi-studio collaboration, strategic alignment, as well as risk mitigation of deliverables. Abhineet also worked at Samsung as a Regional Assistant Manager, where he handled product development of Lifestyle initiative covering multiple countries across SE Asia and Oceania. His role brought new challenges and a great blend of business and product problems that were fun to solve, new initiatives (NPIs), as well as interaction with multiple verticals including Marketing, Strategy, CRM, and Creative teams spread across the region. He was involved in constant product development and innovation via Agile methodology, build, measure, improve/discard iterations for each major/minor feature, requirement discussions, user journey flows, and focus on MVP. Abhineet holds a degree in BE from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) and has completed a Digital Marketing Course from Squared Online. He has also completed a Fintech Future Commerce course from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Abhineet is proficient in product management, web, and mobile technologies. He has hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and playing with APIs of different partners to work out feasibility and quick PoC.
