Abhisek Padhi is a seasoned product manager with over 7 years of relevant experience. Currently, he is the Co-Founder of a stealth startup that aims to revolutionize the online shopping experience. Abhisek is building a founding team at SubNub and is actively hiring for open roles. Before his current role, Abhisek was the Co-Founder of SubNub, where he built one of India's initial audio-only social network apps, competing with Clubhouse. He raised $328K in funding and learned a lot about behavior shaping, sales, and building social media businesses. Although the app took off well, it could not achieve escape velocity due to Clubhouse's strong network effects. Abhisek pivoted to another business model, but the experience taught him valuable lessons about entrepreneurship. Abhisek's past experience also includes working as a Product Owner at Udaan, where he unlocked 6% GMV addition by building a product for the marginal goods market. He also conceptualized and built microwarehousing solutions for B2B goods sellers who fulfill from their premises. This business and product offering helped reduce RTO and RVP by 30% compared to marketplace sellers, resulting in fulfillment excellence at par with warehouse-managed sellers. Abhisek learned and leveraged his knowledge in product management, user experience, stakeholder management, Kotlin, Dropwizard, React (JS & Native), and Kubernetes.
